I am writing to you today as a concerned constituent to express my serious concerns regarding the integrity and transparency of our nation's election processes. Recent statements and ongoing efforts by various organizations have highlighted issues that I believe warrant immediate and thorough investigation by Congress to ensure the continued public trust in our democratic system. I have been following the work of organizations such as the Election Truth Alliance and SMART Elections, which have been actively pursuing reports of election anomalies. Their efforts to bring these concerns to light, ranging from statistical irregularities to procedural inconsistencies, underscore a critical need for greater scrutiny and, where necessary, comprehensive reform of our election administration. A robust and transparent election system is fundamental to a healthy democracy, and any perceived or actual deviations from established norms must be addressed with the utmost seriousness. Furthermore, I was particularly troubled by recent comments made by President Donald Trump regarding Elon Musk's purported knowledge of "vote-counting computers." Such statements, whether intended to be literal or rhetorical, contribute to a climate of distrust around the very mechanisms by which our votes are tabulated. The implication that an individual outside of election official oversight could possess special insight into or influence over vote tabulation systems is deeply unsettling and directly undermines confidence in the security and impartiality of our elections. It is imperative that Congress take proactive steps to investigate these concerns comprehensively. Voting is the foundation of our republic, and as the 2026 midterms loom ahead, I strongly urge you to take action to protect the integrity of our elections.
