I am writing to express my deep concern over the federal government’s blatant defiance of a Supreme Court order in the case of Kilmar Abrego Garcia. The refusal to bring Mr. Abrego Garcia back from El Salvador is not only an inhumane act — it is a direct violation of the highest legal authority in the United States. This administration’s actions demonstrate contempt for the rule of law and undermine the legitimacy of the judicial system itself. When any branch of government, particularly the executive, refuses to comply with a lawful order from the Supreme Court, it threatens the very foundation of our democracy. Donald Trump and any officials complicit in this failure must be held fully accountable. This includes immediate investigation into the Department of Homeland Security and any cabinet members involved, as well as legal consequences for those responsible for defying the Court’s directive. I urge you to publicly speak out and take immediate action to demand: Compliance with the Supreme Court’s order and the safe return of Kilmar Abrego Garcia. Investigation into those responsible for ignoring this ruling. Appropriate legal consequences, including potential arrest and removal from office for those in contempt of court. No one — not even a former president or his administration — is above the law.
