Please do everything in your power to rectify the unlawful detainment of Mohsen Mahdawi. Mahdawi, as well as similar recent cases like Khalil, has a green card. He was about to receive his bachelors, and was already accepted into a masters program. If all we are deporting him for is exercising his right to free speech, it is unjust. If we continue to allow these kinds of detainments, there is a risk for citizens to lose these rights as well. Just because you are safe at this moment does not mean we should ignore injustice. Please do whatever you can to protect these people. What is happening is unlawful and cannot continue. Thank you.
