Protect Bodily Autonomy and Privacy for Women and Girls

To: Sen. Bumstead, Rep. Roth, Gov. Whitmer

From: A constituent in Beulah, MI

February 2

I am a Michigan resident urging you to oppose any law or policy that tracks menstrual cycles, monitors pregnancy, or treats women and girls as state-controlled reproductive resources. Females are full legal persons with inherent bodily autonomy and a right to medical privacy, freedom of movement, and freedom from surveillance or coercion. I ask that you publicly oppose any measures that enable reproductive monitoring or control and support clear legal protections affirming women’s full autonomy, privacy, and personhood.
