Hello, I’m a constituent from Aurora, and I’m writing to ask you to call for Senator Schumer to step aside as Minority Leader, to allow someone new to lead. Sen. Schumer caved and allowed his caucus to support the Republican funding bill. It is clear that he is not willing to stand up against Donald Trump and for the good of the nation. The ACA is worth fighting for! The Democratic base just delivered a blue wave election, and Schumer has shredded the victory we delivered. Instead of leading his caucus to hold the line, he surrendered. In the process, he gave up all the leverage Democrats had to stop Trump. We deserve leadership that will fight for our democracy. Schumer showed he’s not up for that fight. I want to see you call for Schumer to step aside as Minority Leader.
