DO NOT COMPLY TO NDAA 234

To: Sen. Schiff, Rep. Chu, Sen. Padilla

From: A constituent in San Gabriel, CA

June 1

I am writing to express my vehement opposition to Section 234 of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). This provision represents a dangerous step backward for transparency, accountability, and the efficient stewardship of public resources. By prioritizing specialized corporate interests over robust oversight, Section 234 threatens to balloon costs for taxpayers while actively undermining long-term military readiness and strategic innovation. Congress must focus on legislation that strengthens public accountability, protects small businesses, and ensures a resilient national defense ecosystem—rather than advancing measures that insulate large contractors from necessary scrutiny. I strongly urge you to stand up for your constituents and vote NO on any version of the NDAA that includes the damaging provisions of Section 234. Thank you for your time, leadership, and attention to this urgent matter.
