Every year, you take billions of U.S. taxpayer dollars and send them overseas—$3.8 billion and counting to Israel—while telling American citizens that we “can’t afford” universal healthcare, can’t forgive student debt, can’t make college affordable, and can’t provide even the most basic social safety nets.
Israel uses our money to fund healthcare for its people. Israel educates its citizens with our money. Israel guarantees access to reproductive care—with our money. And what do we get in return? More debt, more medical bankruptcies, and more excuses.
This is not charity. This is betrayal. I didn’t consent to subsidize another country’s functioning democracy while our own falls apart. Americans are working full-time and still can’t afford insulin. We’re rationing care, skipping doctor visits, and dying young in the richest nation on earth. And you have the gall to keep sending billions overseas with no strings attached?
If you care at all about your constituents, you’ll put an end to this lopsided, immoral giveaway. Taxpayer money must be used to serve the taxpayers. Not foreign governments. Not foreign militaries. Not allies who have better healthcare than the people footing the bill.
I demand you:
• Vote NO on any future military or foreign aid package to Israel until the U.S. provides universal healthcare, affordable education, and full reproductive freedom to its own people.
• Support legislation that invests in Americans first, not endless war abroad.
Do your job. Serve the people who elected you. This is outrageous, and we’re done being quiet.
