Please enact AB 1378, which per The Mendocino Voice via ICT“would give tribes better access to mental health care, substance abuse treatment and parenting education. The bill would also provide funding for legal representation for families and children, ensuring appropriate counsel in court. In addition, tribes could access capacity-building support to establish preventive programs, train social workers and receive technical assistance for data collection and reporting.”
