To: Representative LaMalfa CC: Senators Padilla and Schiff All of this authoritarian and fascist behavior from the Republican party is beyond infuriating. It shows weakness, not strength. Harassing people on the streets, kidnapping people at work, detaining people at their immigration hearings, descending in an apartment building and torturing the inhabitants, arresting a reporter in Chicago, masked men in unmarked cars, calling American cities war zones, going after political enemies, completely ignoring the Constitution and norms, the list is too long to include everything. Trump says there is an invasion. He is correct, but the invasion is coming from him, and this Republican government. I can not express in writing how very upsetting this is to watch. This great country is destroying itself. Why?? For what reason? So we can be a Christian Nationalist White Supremacist Woman Oppressing country??? Do better.
