The United States' continued military aid and support for Israel's policies towards Gaza and Lebanon is deeply concerning and counterproductive to achieving lasting peace and security in the region. Participating in or enabling the establishment of concentration camps and the use of mercenary forces against civilian populations constitutes a grave violation of international law and human rights norms. Such actions will only breed further resentment, extremism, and cycles of violence rather than making Americans safer. I urge you to reconsider this misguided path, which makes the U.S. complicit in potential war crimes and atrocities. Instead, we should be using our influence to promote dialogue, respect for human rights, and a just resolution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict based on international law and mutual recognition. Perpetuating oppression and collective punishment will only sow the seeds for future conflict and undermine our moral standing in the world.
