You swore an oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic. That oath does not expire, and it does not bend to party loyalty. The current administration has committed clear and repeated violations of the Constitution, dismantling the system of checks and balances that defines the American government. Instead of acting as a co-equal branch, this Congress has stood by and allowed the executive to seize unchecked power. Congress is not a ceremonial body. You were not elected to stand by in silence. You were not elected to pass laws that help dismantle our country.
