I am writing to urge you to remember that beyond the distractions of war and missiles and Epstein and lawsuits are very real American people with very real issues that are being diluted by the waterfall of international news media. If there are no people left to fight for- what is the point in fighting at all? People are losing their SNAP benefits, their Medicaid, their access to assistive devices, their freedom to legally drive, gender affirming care that prevents depression and suicidal ideation, clean water- things that used to be a given in the “wealthiest nation in the world.” Please don’t become blinded by the circus that the administration has created. Stay focused on the people who put you in office to begin with. We’re dying out here. Literally.
