Hello! I am your constituent, and I never miss an election. Today I am writing about the urgent need to protect at-risk immigrant members of our communities. Some of my closest colleagues, friends, and family are immigrants. As the fascist Trump administration continues to attack my loved ones, New York State must pass the New York for All Act (S.2235/A.3506), the Dignity Not Detention Act (S.316/A.4181), the Access to Representation Act (S.141/A.270), and the Clemency Justice Act (S.394/A.403). Please use whatever influence you have to support and/or co-sponsor these four bills and prioritize advancing them immediately. It is crucial under the current fascist administration in DC to do whatever we can at the state level to protect civil liberties. Thank you.
