Dear Sirs, As I watched the event, for it cannot be called a press conference, unfold in the Oval Office yesterday, I was appalled and shocked that a foreign leader would be treated with such disrespect from the President and Vice President. It is amazing to me that leaders like Putin and Kim Jong Un get more respect than what Zelenskyy was shown. This is a man that when his country was attacked—by Russia—and was offered an escape stated that he needed ammo, not a ride and he has been fighting with his people ever since. It may be a hard concept to understand because America hasn’t been put in this position in recent history. But it is not the time to snuggle up to people like Putin. It is time to grow a backbone and stand up to bullies like our own President. Our Founding Fathers and even men like Reagan and Nixon would be rolling over in their graves if they could see the acts that are being called leadership in this country right now. Please condemn the actions of President Trump and Vice President Vance. Stand with the people.
