I am your constituent and I am appalled that the Governor ofTexas is pushing his state to redraw their congressional maps to give the MAGA forces five more seats in Congress that will bow to the autocrat. The Gloves are Off and It Is Time to Fight - Not Negotiate Or Compromise. The Supreme Court ruled in Rucho v. Common Cause, 139 S.Ct. 2484 (2019) that political gerrymandering claims were “non-justiciable” in federal courts. That gave the green light to political gerrymandering. I want you to make sure that our state fights back and redraws our maps to create as many NON MAGA/REPUBLICAN seats as possible to deny the fascists power in the next election. I know you believe in democracy and the rule of law. Now it is time for you to STAND UP & FIGHT BACK.
