I am one of your constituents in Dallas. I am writing to urge you to vote against HR1, the budget reconciliation bill and any provisions that authorize the sale of public lands for the use of oil, mining or timber production. Public lands should be protected and preserved. If you care about the future of this nation, protecting these lands and investing in renewable energy, recycling, and sustainable production and farming is the path forward. Why not go down in history for being a good guy? You and the rest of Congress have the power to actually make this country great but, to date, you are either actively preventing it from happening or standing idly by as it slips away. Be a leader.
