On Wednesday, H.R. 3492 will be brought to vote. This bill further entrenches federal government in medical exam rooms and threatens doctor-patient confidentiality. Furthermore, it is harmful to children who need this lifesaving care. I can’t imagine how my transgender daughter’s life would be different if she would have had to experience going through the wrong puberty. She received this care as a child, under the care, guidance, and direction of her doctors. Today she is a happy and thriving adult. This care must be made available to all trans youth. It must not be stripped away to suit some ill-informed culture war. KEEP OUR YOUTH SAFE-YOU MUST VOTE NO ON H.R. 3492.
