Uphold oath, review Trump impeachment allegations, defend democracy

The impeachment articles introduced by Rep. Thanedar outline serious allegations of abuse of power, obstruction of justice, and constitutional violations by President Trump. These include obstructing due process, defying court orders, misusing government agencies, retaliating against free speech, empowering unilateral violations of the Constitution, accepting bribes, and consolidating unchecked executive power. While the current Republican-controlled Congress may not advance impeachment proceedings, it is critical for members to uphold their oath to the Constitution and hold the President accountable for any proven high crimes and misdemeanors. Failing to do so erodes the system of checks and balances and rule of law. I urge you to thoroughly review the evidence and allegations in these articles and take appropriate action to defend American democracy and constitutional principles.
