We’re really going to let our president, a supposed grown man, bully one California trans teen? We’re just caving and supporting his bigotry against one teenager athlete?! Don’t be a coward, stand up for trans people. Sports in school is meant to encourage kids to exercise and make friends. To feel included. Excluding any child from that experience is wrong! You’re sending the message that we as Californians do not support our trans neighbors. Suicide rates are high among trans teens exactly because of actions like this. Support trans youth, support trans athletes! Don’t be a coward! We need brave leaders now more than ever to stand up for the people Trump and his cronies want to eradicate. This is starting with sports, but it will not end there! And certainly will not end with trans people. We’ve seen this all before in Nazi Germany. We have to stand up and stop fascism and hate!
