I am writing to demand you fight to help nurses maintain their status as being a supported profession. The administration’s efforts to remove the professional title and subsequent financial support for nurses is not only deeply, deeply insulting, but it is a dangerous move. Our country is already experiencing a dangerous nursing shortage, and this would only make things much, much worse. If you care about the safety and health of our communities, you must fight to help nurses maintain their professional status and subsequent financial support through loans. Support nurses. Support your constituents.
