Rein in Trumps reckless and dangerous behavior. There’s reporting that Iranian forces are rapidly laying mines, strengthening air defenses, and preparing for a potential U.S. ground operation aimed at seizing the island. Kharg Island processes roughly 90% of Iran’s crude oil exports, making it the backbone of the country’s economy and a key flashpoint for global energy markets. Any escalation here could have massive consequences—disrupting oil supply, driving up global prices, and triggering broader conflict across the region. This is a rapidly developing and extremely high-stakes situation. One thing is clear: Iran is prepared for a U.S. invasion and is ready to fight back.
