Demand accountability and principled governance from administration

To: Sen. Cramer, Rep. Fedorchak, Sen. Hoeven

From: A constituent in Horace, ND

April 24

The current administration's relentless string of blunders and incompetence is deeply concerning and detrimental to the nation's well-being. The systemic appointment of unqualified individuals to crucial positions has crippled the government's ability to function effectively, jeopardizing public trust and national security. From the inadvertent defunding of critical health research initiatives to the alarming mishandling of classified information, these repeated missteps cannot be dismissed as mere oversights. They reflect a profound disregard for the responsibilities entrusted to the executive branch. The effects of these misguided policies are far-reaching, with thousands of dedicated civil servants losing their jobs and vital scientific endeavors being upended or abandoned altogether. The long-term ramifications of such reckless decision-making will undoubtedly take years to rectify, setting the nation back on numerous fronts. Congress must exercise its constitutional authority to hold the administration accountable and take decisive action to remove unqualified individuals from positions of power. The well-being of the nation and its citizens should take precedence over partisan allegiances or personal agendas. It is imperative that Congress upholds its duty to serve as a check on executive overreach and safeguard the principles of good governance.
