A free and independent press is foundational to our democracy – allowing people to find information they can trust and speak truth to power. And it's a cornerstone of our Constitution. That's why I'm asking you to co-sponsor the Broadcast Freedom and Independence Act and protect our free press. No administration should be allowed to control the media and censor viewpoints it disagrees with. I hope you'll support a free press by co-sponsoring the Broadcast Freedom and Independence Act.
