I am writing as a concerned constituent who is alarmed by the current state of our economy and the lack of strong, public leadership from elected officials—especially from those in the Republican Party—on this critical issue. Donald Trump’s actions and rhetoric are systemically dismantling the foundations of our economic power. The dollar is under growing threat, key American companies are being harmed by reckless policies and political instability, and working families are being crushed by the rising costs of housing, food, and fuel. These are not abstract issues—they are daily realities for millions of Americans. It is deeply troubling that you and many of your colleagues have not taken a more forceful and serious stance in defense of our economy. The silence is deafening, and it is being noticed. If the Republican Party continues to ignore the economic pain and anxiety of everyday Americans, you risk losing the trust—and the votes—of the very people who once looked to you for solutions. We need strong voices right now. We need principled leaders who will call out dangerous economic policies, champion fiscal stability, and fight for the livelihoods of their constituents.
