Urgent: Investigate Secretary Hegseth for Potential National Security Violations
To: Sen. Young, Rep. Messmer, Sen. Banks
From: A constituent in Mount Vernon, IN
April 22
I am writing as a concerned citizen deeply alarmed by reports and indications that Secretary Pete Hegseth has been sharing classified or sensitive military strategies and war plans with individuals who do not hold proper security clearances or a legitimate need to know—including family members.
If these actions are true, they pose a grave threat to the safety of our military personnel and violate basic protocols regarding national security and operational secrecy. This behavior is not only unprofessional; it is potentially criminal, rising to the level of espionage or gross misconduct.
I urge you to:
-Demand an immediate investigation into Secretary Hegseth’s conduct.
-Call for his removal from office.
-Pursue legal accountability for any breaches of national security laws.
Our military deserves leadership that is competent, trustworthy, and fully committed to the safety and success of those who serve. Please take action to protect the integrity of our national defense.
