I am writing because what is happening in Minneapolis and across the country matters to all of us. Our communities are strongest when neighbors feel safe, supported, and respected. I believe Missouri should take a clear stand and keep ICE out of our state. We need our neighbors. We need trust in our communities. And we need public safety that protects people instead of frightening them. Standing in solidarity with Minneapolis is about more than one city. It is about showing up for each other and saying that everyone deserves dignity and security where they live. It is about telling Trump that human lives aren't tokens for him to spend. Thank you for taking the time to listen and care about the future of our communities.
