Hi, I'm Jackie and I’m a member of Indivisible Westside Los Angeles and a constituent from Santa Monica. I ask that you publicly and privately request Chuck Schumer to step down as Senate Minority Leader. While we thank Chuck Schumer for his decades of service, Democrats need someone who’s not afraid to think creatively and outside the box, step out of their comfort zone and fight for the rights and needs of everyday Americans. Chuck is no longer up for the job and I’d like you to move quickly and deliberately to seek a new leader. Additionally, I ask you to follow Senator Jon Ossoff’s lead by publicly supporting impeachment charges and proceedings against Donald Trump. We are very supportive of Rep. Shri Thanedar filing impeachment articles and want you to support as well. Lastly, I urge you to ensure that the Trump Administration follows through with its promise to restore funding to the National Institute of Health’s vitally important program, the Women’s Health Initiative. Make calls to NIH to verify they have the necessary funding to keep this program operational. Thank you for your time and consideration.
