As one of your constituents in Lexington, Ky I am writing to urge you to take action against the increased funding of I.C.E. It is clear from recent actions that these "officers" and agents are untrained and undisciplined. Not only are they infringing on the first and second amendment rights of American citizens they have now become complicit in the murder of one. This is against the values our country was founded on. It is not illegal to observe. It is not illegal to openly carry with a permit. And those who exercise their freedoms should not be afraid to be beaten and murdered in this great country. If you believe in democracy please do what you can to see this organization defunded and demilitarized. As a member of congress, it is your job to stand up for freedom for the American people. So I urge you, do not vote for the appropriations bill if DHS funding is included.
