Today, Renee Good was murdered by ICE. Despite the lies uttered by Kristi Noem and Donald Trump, she had not committed any crimes, and did not in any way threaten the lives of any members of ICE. The nation has seen the videos of the agent standing next to her car, not in front, and her turning the car away from the agent. This was an out-and-out murder of an American citizen for no reason. This agent needs to be identified and charged. Renee Good's husband and six-year-old son deserve justice. And the families of the 30 detainees in ICE custody who have died deserve a full independent investigation of their deaths. ICE needs to be held accountable for their illegal acts, and the program needs to be investigated to see if the agents have been instructed to "fire first and ask questions after".
