I’m reaching out to oppose two bills. H.R. 3492 would threaten providers of gender-affirming care for youth with up to ten years imprisonment. H.R. 498 would ban Medicaid coverage of lifesaving treatment. By targeting hospitals and medical providers, this administration’s transphobic agenda undermines the basic rights, medical needs, and safety of transgender youth in all states. Affirm that transgender care is health care by defeating these dangerous bills.
