Where are the checks and balances I learned about in U.S history in highschool?

As your constituent, I am concerned and angered. Apparently there are billions of dollars accessible for Trump to spend on an impulsive vanity war against anyone he chooses (without any oversight) and you all could’ve used that money at any time to subsidize or even COVER THE COST OF HEALTHCARE FOR ALL OF US who are going bankrupt trying to afford medicine for our children? This is unconscionable. The truth is: you just never wanted to make healthcare affordable. There was always the ability to help us afford what WE NEED TO SURVIVE and you didn’t care enough to help. I’m irate, tired, and so upset by this. This war is having effects on the global economy. Fertilizer for our food is outrageously expensive along with fossil fuel to supply gasoline is also stuck. Trump created this problem and as members of Congress you needs to do your job and stop this war. Your constituents are not going to be able to afford to eat, pay for gasoline to get to their jobs, which may be cut since businesses are also going to suffer. Stop placating Trump and stop his wars. The American people do not want this war and it is not keeping us safer even if that's the line to give the media. Please respond.
