Thank you for voting to impeach Donald Trump. Even though it is a symbolic vote, it is an important message to all of America that Democrats are not going to sit quietly. I hope you continue to be an independent thinker and not tied to the Democratic Party machine. I have been horribly disappointed in the Democratic Party establishment/elites and its ruthless squashing of progressive candidates at all levels, including recent support for Cuomo’s campaign in New York. As you run for Senator Durbin’s seat, please follow Zohran Mamdani’s playbook: identify the real issues impacting your constituents (like affordable housing for individuals with mental health challenges and limited income), and offer actual solutions. I have had enough of the Democratic Party’s platitudes and support for politics as usual. We need a new crop of Democratic lawmakers like Zohran Mamdani, and I am hoping, like you. Thank you again for being present and always communicating with your constituents. If you present a progressive platform with real opportunity for change, you will have my support.
