Oppose UAE Bailout and Prioritize American Families I'm calling on you to publicly oppose any financial bailout for the United Arab Emirates and redirect those resources to Americans suffering from Trumps illegal Tariff policies and Unitary Executive overreach. The Trump administration is considering a currency-swap line for the UAE, an autocratic state that isn't even a major trading partner. In 2024, U.S.-UAE trade totaled just $47.9 billion, compared to $909 billion with Canada. The UAE has also refused to allow its territory to be used for military operations against Iran, despite claims of being a "valuable ally" - I agree with their stance on the prohibition for the use of their territory - Trump should never have been allowed to bring war on Iran. Just because the Trump family has raked in hundreds of millions from UAE business deals, including $187 million from a cryptocurrency stake purchase and millions more from golf course licensing agreements, is an even bigger reason not to go forward with the bailout. This is corruption, plain and simple. Those of us who can least afford it, are paying higher prices because of tariffs while our tax dollars are being looted for a bailout that benefits a foreign government with deep money ties to Trump's family. If there's money available for bailouts, it should go to those of us hurt by his corrupt policies, not to prop up an autocracy that enriches the Trump Organization. Block any UAE bailout and fight for relief for working families instead. A Constituent Disgusted With The Way Republicans Are Throwing Away Democracy, And Returning The Country Back To An Age Of Racism & Poverty Of The Dark Ages.
