I am writing to demand an immediate, comprehensive investigation into a deeply alarming pattern: the unusually high volume of federal contracts reportedly awarded to companies owned or controlled by Donald Trump Jr. The American people are watching millions upon millions of taxpayer dollars flow into entities connected to the former president’s family, and we have received no clear explanation, no transparency, and no assurance that these awards were free from political favoritism, conflicts of interest, or potential abuse of power. This is not normal. This is not acceptable. And it is absolutely not something Congress can ignore. Government contracts must be earned through open competition, merit, and clear ethical standards — not through proximity to political power or family connections. The integrity of federal spending is a foundational pillar of our democracy. When that integrity is called into question, Congress has a duty to act immediately and decisively. I am demanding: 1. A full, public investigation into how and why these contracts were awarded. 2. A detailed audit of all federal funds allocated to companies affiliated with Donald Trump Jr. 3. A public explanation of the safeguards currently in place to prevent political favoritism — and whether those safeguards were bypassed. 4. A commitment to strengthen ethics and procurement rules to ensure no administration can exploit public office for private financial gain. Congress cannot allow even the appearance of self-dealing or insider enrichment to take root in our government. The American people deserve honesty, accountability, and oversight — not silence, excuses, or backroom dealings. Do your job. Investigate this immediately. The credibility of the federal government depends on it.
