Sign the discharge petition, liar
To: Rep. Mann
From: A constituent in Wamego, KS
September 4, 2025
Your reply to my demand to sign the discharge petition was full of bull and you know it. To quote your reply:
“The House Oversight Committee has released more than 34,000 documents regarding the Epstein case to the public, provided by the Department of Justice, ensuring the protection of victim identities and sensitive information regarding child sexual abuse. President Trump and House Republicans are united in wanting transparency surrounding the Epstein files without upending the lives of victims even further.”
There are at least three lies in this paragraph alone.
1. The House Oversight Committee released the same documents that had been previously released by the Biden administration.
2. If you, your colleagues and trump wanted transparency you would release the files that Pam Bondi had on her desk and tasked 1000 FBI agents with redacting.
3. Dozens of victims and their supporters spoke outside the Capitol yesterday demanding the files be released. They have stated that their lives would be further upended by the administration’s concealment of the files.
Your party is covering for pedophiles and you should be ashamed. As I stated in my prior email, I am left to wonder how many of you republican representatives are either in the files or are otherwise concerned about your own disgusting behavior being made public. If you have been threatened or honeypotted, and you’re afraid to stand up for the potentially thousands of Epstein victims, then you are a coward who does not deserve your office.
I understand there is a 99.9% probability you will not sign the discharge petition, but please, don’t LIE to your constituents. The three lies I pointed out here are just the most basic facts about this whole spectacle that everyone knows. We are not dumb. You should be embarrassed to spout that nonsense.
