As we see LA, DC, Portland, and Chicago be invaded by Trump, what are you doing to prepare for his invasion of New York City? This is an inevitability at this point. My guess is he will do it after the mayoral election. He of course already is calling Momdani a socialist and communist and everything else he can say to stoke his racist and xenophobic base to portray him as the enemy instead of a legitimate candidate for our city. He will try to nullify the election should Momdani win. Our "president" of course has never believed in democracy. I live in Brooklyn and watching events unfold this year is terrifying. I'm sure that Trump as a New Yorker will want to "liberate" our city. I hope you and the state legislature have plans to withhold federal money as well as of course have lawsuits drawn up at the point in anticipation of Trump's invasion. I envision him ordering a painting of him standing in the bow of the boat crossing the Hudson like Washington crossing the Delaware. Or wading into Manhattan reenacting MacArthur's return to the Philippines. He is a fascist and of course wants to punish his rivals and blue cities/states. I'm sure the fact that his home city and state have never supported him has made this a huge target for him.
