We are spending $1 billion a day for a war we didn’t need with Iran in order to make oil affordable. A reminder – wind and solar energy don’t need to be imported through the Strait of Hormuz. Canceling the $1 billion dollar contract with the French company for offshore wind farms while fighting this war for oil is the height of Republican stupidity.
