STOP THE THEATRICS, ERIC!
To: Sen. Schmitt
From: A verified voter in Springfield, MO
November 25
Your call for “Watergate-style hearings” into the Arctic Frost investigation is a ridiculous waste of time, taxpayer money, and whatever political credibility you still think you have. Missouri did not send you to Washington to throw public tantrums every time law enforcement touches someone with an “R” next to their name.
You know full well that congressional hearings aren’t cheap. Yet you’re demanding months of theatrics, hours of grandstanding, panels, legal staff, travel, security, and endless wasted resources, because you want to score Fox News soundbites. That’s not oversight. That’s not leadership. It’s vanity dressed up as outrage.
The irony is staggering: you attack “weaponization” while trying to use your Senate seat as a political shield for people under investigation. That isn’t protecting the Constitution. It’s protecting your party’s mess from daylight.
Every minute you spend chasing conspiratorial shadows is a minute you’re not doing the job taxpayers actually fund. Missourians deserve a senator who works for them, not someone who treats the Senate like a stage for partisan grievance performances.
Stop burning our money on political theater and start doing the work you were elected to do.
You have done NOTHING for Missouri.
