YOU voted to gut Medicaid, shut down rural hospitals, and hand out massive tax breaks to the wealthy, all while raising costs for everyday Missourians. YOU sold us out and punched down on working families to prop up the powerful. For millionaires, the budget is a payday. For those of us who are nurses, teachers, or retirees, it’s a nightmare. Missouri’s health care system will lose an estimated $1.7 BILLION per year in federal funding. At risk are *at least* 22,000 jobs, and the cost to Missouri’s annual GDP = 2.5 BILLION DOLLARS. YOU CUT $630 million from Missouri food assistance programs, nearly 40% of all funding. Annual energy bills will increase by $620 million across Missouri households by 2030. Emissions will increase by over 1.7 million metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent by 2030. YOU DID THIS TO YOUR OWN KIDS. And you geniuses added $4 TRILLION to the national debt. The 2025 Republican budget is a betrayal of working families!
