Donald Trump has now openly called himself a king. If any president in American history had dared to do the same, the outrage would have been deafening. If a president had done this while our Founding Fathers were alive, they would have impeached and removed him, then tarred and feathered him for good measure. I am not advocating for that—I believe in peaceful solutions. But I am calling on you to act.
Impeach him. Remove him. This wannabe king has no place in our government. He disrespects the office of the presidency, the Constitution, and the very idea of democracy. He deliberately installs people who sabotage the agencies they are supposed to run because he does not believe in the purpose of government itself. He openly admires dictators like Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong Un and is following their playbook step by step. When he calls himself a king, it’s not a joke. It’s a test—to see if he can normalize it, to see if you will let it slide.
Are you going to let it slide? Or are you going to grow a spine and put a stop to this? I know you receive endless calls and letters, and you feel stretched thin. But if I can take the time to write to you every day to demand accountability, you can take action. You could end this in one move—by impeaching and removing him. Republicans don’t even like him; they just lack the courage to stand up.
So stand up. Enough with the private complaints and public cowardice. Do your job. Stop this before he pushes us further down the path to autocracy. You swore an oath to the Constitution, not to Donald Trump. It’s time to prove that means something.
