Flock Camera Law Enforcement Coordination Act Purpose: To enable coordination between local law enforcement and federal agencies on flock camera surveillance for the purpose of identifying vehicles and occupants during criminal investigations. Key provisions: 1. Local law enforcement may request data for identification purposes from federal agencies when conducting a criminal investigation. 2. Federal agencies shall provide immediate identification of the vehicle and its occupants upon such request. 3. As a condition of access, the requesting local agency must provide evidence or attestation that criminal activity is occurring or is under investigation. 4. The specific protocols for data sharing, timing, and inter-agency procedures shall be determined jointly by federal and state authorities and are not prescribed by this act.
