Vote No on Continuing Resolution

To: Sen. Wyden, Sen. Merkley

From: A verified voter in Portland, OR

March 12, 2025

I am begging you to vote no on the Continuing Resolution passed by the House. The cuts to the budget in this bill basically give Trump and Musk the ability to continue their savage cuts that are destroying our government. They are neutering Congress’s control of the purse. The House passed it while not allowing any input from the Democratic Party. We are shut out completely from any negotiations. No Democratic Senator should support this bill. Please stand united and tell the president and his party a resounding no on this horrible CR. Thank you.
