Congress ; data is screaming at us and u best listen up! The CDC and other studies estimate that 60 to 70 percent of Americans are on at least one prescription medication!!!!!That is NOT a sign of a healthy nation!That is a sign that we are masking problems instead of curing them! Take medicine away and underlying issue is still there!. Stop antidepressants and many people feel worse than before. Cure the cause instead of throwing a pill to help people cope day to day, cure with REAL neurological treatments that science has proven to cure ! Get to the root cause not grass roots pharmaceutical bandaids! 60 to 70 percent of the country dependent on pills. This is a systems failure! billions to manage symptoms while the root causes of chronic disease go unaddressed. A mandatory national shift for outcomes, not just prescriptions written. I urge Congress to investigate the drivers of this overmedication, fund facilities n give free treatment therapy based on pay scale at time of treatment!want me to add specific stats from the Mayo Clinic study about antidepressants and opioids?
