It costs over $4000/ month to keep someone imprisoned in one of our detention centers. We have over 65,000 people in detention centers right now, 70% of whom have never been convicted of any crime. We are, as a nation, spending over $300,000,000 *every month* to abuse and traumatize people. 200 of those people are children. 25 of those people are *babies.* This cruel and unusual punishment without due process is unconstitutional. And it's evil. And it's a waste of our money. Please make it stop.
