**Oppose HB7 and Protect Access to Reproductive Healthcare** Vote no on HB7, the No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion and Abortion Insurance Full Disclosure Act. This bill would strip abortion coverage from every health plan that receives any federal subsidy, forcing millions of women to pay entirely out-of-pocket for reproductive healthcare or buy separate coverage with non-federal funds. HB7 goes far beyond existing restrictions. It bans abortion coverage across all federal programs, prohibits it in plans purchased with ACA premium tax credits, and blocks it in federal employee health benefits. Women who rely on these subsidies would lose access to comprehensive reproductive care. Low-income women would be hit hardest, facing impossible choices between affording basic healthcare and affording abortion services when they need them. This is a backdoor national abortion ban. By making it financially impossible for most women to access abortion through their insurance, HB7 creates the infrastructure for total prohibition. The exceptions for rape, incest, and life of the mother are so narrow they'll be meaningless in practice, requiring documentation and verification that will delay or deny care. I need you to protect the right to choose. Oppose HB7 and any legislation that restricts access to reproductive healthcare.
