In just six months your administration has **closed the southern border** and **removed violent criminal illegal aliens**, restoring law and order. At the same time, jobs have surged: in June the U.S. added about 147,000 jobs, all gains going to American-born workers. Unemployment has dropped to 4.1% and wages for working Americans are rising by nearly 4%. These results—secure borders and more jobs—prove your America First agenda is working. You have wisely focused on criminals, not hard-working immigrants, making clear that “criminals, not farmers” are the priority, as you stated last week. Criminal aliens “should know there’s no safe haven”—as DHS spokeswoman Tricia McLaughlin put it, “we will come for you, and you will be deported.” We agree: those who break our laws have no place in America; innocent workers should be left alone. Vice President Vance rightly warns that our economy grew too “addicted to cheap labor.” Too many firms have cut corners by relying on low-wage or illegal workers rather than investing in American innovation and high-skill jobs. You and Vance know this cheap-labor crutch holds America back. That’s why America First patriots back your focus on advanced innovation and skilled American jobs—not endless low-wage schemes. However, to truly secure this legacy, we must ensure ICE can never be misused as a political tool by future administrations. ICE’s broad powers, if left unchecked, could one day be turned against law-abiding Americans; now is the time to embed safeguards requiring judicial warrants for non-immigration arrests and clear congressional oversight. Separating ICE’s immigration and investigative missions will prevent abuse. Alongside this, we urge an even bolder “carrot-and-stick” approach: - **Severe penalties for executives and companies that knowingly hire illegal labor** - **Mandatory national E-Verify** - **Voluntary departure centers giving those here illegally a chance to leave with dignity—a plane ticket home and a $1,000 stipend to start anew** Your priorities—punishing the real profiteers, not innocent workers—show true America First values. You’ve proven you don’t need support from businesses breaking our laws; you answer to honest American patriots. We are with you as you secure our future, restore justice, and pave the way for a new era of American prosperity.
