I was very happy to see your call for McCollum to resign. I write to you to ask for your further good judgment and oppose the president's latest "deal" to open Hormuz. The proposed deal now under discussion would give Iran a 5-7% toll for traffic through Hormuz. After decades of US efforts to withhold money from Iran, this deal would be a massive victory for the Iranians. It would give them a long-term dominant position in the Gulf. Pretty much an unconditional surrender by Trump to Tehran. This president has already caused so much damage to our standing in the world, and he obviously needs oversight.
