I just don't get it.  Please hold a town hall meeting to explain the following to me about the budget bill: $1.1 trillion in cuts to Medicaid and food assistance $1.1 trillion in tax cuts for those making more than $500k a year. If I'm not mistaken, this is a dollar-for-dollar transfer from those who need food and health care to those who own a second home or take really nice vacations each year.  Help me understand how this makes my community better.
