I hear that Democrats are thinking of only asking for one or two small things in exchange for their votes on keeping the government open. This is unacceptable! Democrats should ONLY support a budget deal that restores full funding to Medicaid, permanently extends the ACA tax premiums—not temporarily, yanks the power of the purse back from Trump, and forces Trump to end the occupation of our cities. No other deal is acceptable. Dems must ask for at least that much and hold the line if they don’t get it. If they don’t their voters will be livid. Thanks.
