The president's action of abruptly evicting former Coast Guard Commandant Linda Fagan from her residence with only three hours' notice is deeply concerning. A highly respected leader who devoted her career to public service, Admiral Fagan deserved far better treatment. Firing officials without proper cause and forcing them from their homes on extremely short notice is unacceptable. It reflects a troubling abuse of power and lack of basic decency. I urge you to speak out against this unjust action and take steps to prevent similar mistreatment of dedicated public servants in the future. Our government leaders should be held to the highest standards of professionalism, ethics and respect for those who honorably serve our nation.
